ART DIRECTION
CERN is the European Organization for Nuclear Research that operates the largest particle physics laboratory in the world. CERN’s work is by nature, intimidating. Answering the world’s most complex questions is no easy feat.So, people will often assume they wouldn’t be accepted onto their 3 entry pathways - Early Talent, Graduates and the prestigious Fellows.
Working with a copywriter, I was tasked with creating a brand identity with naming conventions for the 3 pathways. Each pathway had to feel welcoming, connected, yet distinctive. We started with a great logo lock up and a design foundation inspired by Atoms and Particle Accelerators.
